Privacy policy
Reviewed when this site was rebuilt, November 2026.
1. The site is static
Every page here is a pre-built HTML file served from a content delivery network. There are no user accounts, no comments, no contact form and no login. Reading a page does not create a profile on our side.
2. The search box runs in your browser
The search on the front page is a script inside the page. It matches your query against a list of article titles and descriptions that was already delivered with the page. Your query is not sent to us, not logged and not stored when you close the tab.
3. Server logs
The network operator that serves this domain processes ordinary request data — IP address, path, time, user agent — in order to deliver the response and to keep the service available. This is standard web hosting behaviour and is not used by us to build reader profiles.
4. Email
Messages sent to contact@excitingpress.com reach a mailbox tied to this domain and are forwarded to the owner's inbox. The forwarding provider processes the message in transit. Correspondence that records a correction is kept as long as the correction matters.
5. What is not here
- No advertising or remarketing pixels.
- No third-party analytics script.
- No social media embeds that would load code from another company.
- No newsletter, no mailing list, no sale or rental of contact data.
6. External links
Articles link out to primary sources — a publisher's documentation, a standard, an archive record. Once you follow such a link you are on another site, and that site's privacy policy applies instead of this one.
7. Asking for removal
If you wrote to us and want your message or its metadata deleted, write again from the same address with "Privacy" in the subject. We delete correspondence that is not needed to document a correction or to meet a legal obligation.
8. Changes
Any change to this policy is dated on this page. Revisions are not backdated.
