Who runs this site

This site has been operated by a new owner since November 2026. The responsible unit is recorded as: [to be completed by the owner].

It is not connected to, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the party that previously used the domain name. We are not that operator, we do not hold that operator's records, and we publish nothing on their behalf.

What the domain name was used for before

From 2012 to 2014 this domain belonged to Exciting Press, an independent digital-literature publisher that ran a storefront and a page of contract announcements for the authors it signed. It had no connection to the current site. Anything published under that name belonged to that operator, not to the editors here.

After that period the domain changed hands again and unwanted material appeared under it. Older addresses from those periods are not restored: the site returns "Gone" for the directories that held unrelated third-party pages, and 404 for anything that has no meaning here. We do not reuse the old design, the old text or the old page structure.

What this site covers

• The documented history of the form, told from primary and archival sources.

What this site does not do

• We do not sell entries, subscriptions or prizes, and there is no paywall.
• We do not review a game we have not opened and played.
• We do not take paid guest posts, sponsored links or link exchanges.
• We do not republish charts, tables or text from other sites.
